On Friday 25 November, Energy Systems Catapult published a report titled Measuring the consumer response to the energy crisis. This highlights that consumer behaviour has changed ‘significantly’ during the energy crisis, with Living Lab homes found to have used 40% less gas, on average, for heating during September/October 2022 compared to last year. It also found that Living Lab homes were being kept ~0.6ºC colder, on average, during October this year compared to last year.
