Views sought on Ten-Year Review of Capacity Market Rules

On Monday 8 January, Ofgem issued a consultation on its Ten-Year Review of the Capacity Market (CM) Rules. Specifically, the regulator is seeking input on the appropriateness of the CM’s intended objectives, which include the promotion of investment in capacity to ensure security of electricity supply and the facilitation of the efficient operation and administration of the CM.

Views sought on proposed contract changes for CfD AR6

On Tuesday 19 December, DESNZ issued a consultation on several proposed changes to the Standard Terms and Conditions (STCs) and the Private Network (PN) Agreement for Allocation Round 6 (AR6) of the Contracts for Difference (CfD) scheme, which is scheduled to open in March 2024.
